When it is about style, Windows Phone 7.5 beats everyone else. Microsoft is betting big on its latest mango update for Windows Phone. It is truly an innovative thought-process of what a phone UI  should look like and how efficiently you can use this.


Look and feel:
A completely new Concept called ‘tile’ adds a refreshing look to its interface. you will find the UI more live with tiles showing updates as they are available. Tiles also give you access to your favorite features. It can be an application, a file, an inbox or a ‘hub’. There is a support for third party apps that you can use in live tiles.

It uses an integrated ‘people hub’ that adds more liveliness to its highly acclaimed interface. It lists all your content from various services(i.e facebook). you can easily track history, see updates and do interactions with them.

Social Connection:
When it comes to social integration, the windows phone adds more slices... i.e now you can integrate your Twitter and Linkedin contacts in addition to Facebook one.You can categorize your contacts into groups and can pin these groups on your home screen.Your Facebook events are integrated with the calender.You can share photos through Facebook and windows live messenger app can be used to access Twitter. 

Messaging:
well it is really putting people first. The Messaging app contains sms, facebook chat and live messenger. The people hub contains Twitter and LinkedIn integration. Contact cards now include all the contacts conversation history (SMS, emails, MMS, Messenger, etc.). All messaging communication organized in a single thread no matter it can be Messenger, SMS or MMS.It has also a support for Threaded email conversations and Outlook tasks.


Multimedia Front:
This new release still uses the zune desktop app for syncing music and videos also for file transfer no bluetooth facility is available. You can create your own customized ringtone but no "save as ringtone" option is there for you. The phone supports voice commands so you can call or text a contact. At the Camera side, the nice feature is that it retains your custom settings when you exit from the application with the save settings option.
  
Market Place:
Windows Phone apps market place recently touches the 40,000 apps mark, which is a good sign for app users and developers. XBOX integration makes app access very easy and gives a chance to access a huge & high quality game library. You can even try them before purchasing it.


Mango tastes good but lacks pulp:
Mango has got varous significant features and cool gesture, still it needs some more hands for the finest.The things that you can find not so smart one :

~ Dependency on zune for syncing. 

~ Absence of handy file transfer feature (i.e bluetooth).

~ No file manager.

~ No Mass storage mode is availabe.


So you can expect a solution for these lacks  and a better windows phone in its next update like Apollo.  :-)
